Liberty completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2001 at Flinders University. Liberty worked as a speech pathologist in the area of disability at Novita Children’s Services and also as a speech pathologist in education at Department of Education and Child Development. Liberty began Liberty Speech Pathology in 2005 to fill a gap in the north eastern area for accessible private practice services.
Liberty is passionate about working with kids in the areas of speech sounds, literacy and language. She also has a strong interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder and is clinically trained to diagnose Autism.
Liberty loves being Mum to three delightful school kids. She enjoys church, reading, looking at pretty things and watching old movies.

Rosie completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2014. Liberty Speech Pathology had the pleasure of having Rosie for a clinical placement in the final year of her degree. We were so impressed with her clinical skills and lovely nature that we were delighted to offer Rosie a position with Liberty Speech Pathology as soon as she graduated.
Rosie has a particular interest in school aged speech, language and literacy. She loves seeing students with these needs achieve their goals and increase their confidence.
As well as working with kids as a speech pathologist, Rosie is also a Sunday School leader in her church. She finds it very rewarding to plan programs, lead her team and make a difference in the lives of children.
In her spare time, Rosie loves to play tennis and watches the Australian Open every Summer. She also loves to bake and watch movies with friends

Amy has been with Liberty Speech Pathology in various capacities since her second year of studying speech pathology. We are thrilled to have her on our team as a speech pathologist now! Amy adores children (and the adoration is definitely returned!) and loves being a paediatric speech pathologist. Her particular areas of interest are literacy, language and auditory processing. Our very own ballerina, Amy loves to put on her dancing shoes to pirouette and jete her way around a stage.
Amy loves watching movies in her spare time and enjoys being involved in her church. She loves to travel, particularly to places where she can take part in volunteer and mission work overseas.

Laura graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the end of 2014. Her interest in speech pathology began during a week of work experience in high school, and her passion for the field has continued to grow ever since.
Laura loves to see a diverse range of children and is especially interested in working with children on their speech sounds and early language skills. Laura is adored by children and has a creative way of making things fun for children.
In her free time, Laura loves to watch movies, read books and spend time with her family and friends. Quite the songbird, Laura enjoys musicals and loves to be in amateur musical theatre productions in Adelaide when she gets the chance. Some of the Liberty Speech team loved seeing her perform in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella! Laura loves children: As well as working with children as a speech pathologist, Laura also teaches Sunday School and choir to groups of children on a regular basis.

Olivia joined the Liberty speech pathology team after completing her Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2015.
She loves keeping fit and active, travelling around the world, reading as many books as she can and trying out different styles of art- particularly painting!
Olivia’s passion is working in early language skills and supporting children to develop their literacy. She loves being able to work closely with families and seeing students develop their confidence and achieve their communication goals.

Misty completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the end of 2015. Her passion for working with children developed early on. Misty taught piano to primary school children whilst she was still in high school. Later, she went on to tutor children in math and literacy skills as she studied Speech Pathology. Misty finds working with children fun, inspiring and rewarding.
Misty enjoys having a diverse caseload with children of varying ages and needs. Misty has a passion working with middle school and high school students. Misty enjoys helping her older students navigate their way through their later years in school and preparing them to enter the adult world. Misty enjoys putting a spin on therapy with her older students to ensure therapy is functional, meaningful and relevant for them. Misty has a range of interests within the speech pathology field including social skills, problem solving and executive functioning.
In her free time, Misty and her husband absolutely love to host games nights with their family and friends! Misty also loves to find new restaurants around her home in the Adelaide hills and enjoys anything “science fiction and fantasy”!

Emma completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Flinders University in 2015 and started on the Liberty Speech team in 2016. She is particularly interested in early intervention (prior to school-age) and working with children in primary school. She enjoys helping young children and their families to learn about how to best communicate with others, in a way that suits their needs.
In her spare time Emma loves playing piano, getting outside for walks (preferably at the beach!) and spending time with family and friends. She also has spent time working with young children through church programs and teaching piano prior to starting speech pathology studies.

Lauren Completed Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2016 and started working as a Speech Pathologist at the start of 2017.
She is interested in working with early intervention and Junior School speech, language, and literacy.
Lauren is also involved with children’s ministry at church on the weekends. She enjoys taking her dog Naya for walks and going out for brunch with friends.

Kate completed her Masters of Speech Pathology in 2018. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Human Movement.
Kate is very passionate about improving the ability for children to be understood through their capacity to communicate. She is also eager to create sessions that are enjoyable and engaging by creating a positive learning environment, to help maximise children’s learning. Kate has a wide range of interests within the field that include language, speech, literacy and social skills.
When Kate is not at the clinic or schools, she takes a keen interest in staying active while also finding time to see her family and friends.
Kate reflects that in her own childhood, she spent time with a Speech Pathologist to help improve her own speech. This was a leading factor that has motivated her towards this field and helps to remind her of the important work that Speech Pathologists do to support these young learners.

Jess graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at the end of 2019. Throughout her studies, Jess enjoyed working as a behaviour therapist with children who have ASD, and working with larger groups of children teaching at choir and Sunday school.
While Jess loves working with families and children of all ages, she has a particular passion for playing with little ones to build early language skills. Jess also adores working with children on speech sounds and developing communication through AAC… all while playing fun games!
Jess loves to be a busy bee. When she does have free time, she enjoys singing at church, hosting friends and family, drinking lots of coffee, going camping and riding her bike.

Claire graduated Flinders University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2019 and started working at Liberty the same year. Claire has been passionate about speech pathology ever since she was lucky enough to have a work experience day in high school. Claire’s areas of interest are language, social communication, and fluency.
Claire loves working with children and has worked as a children’s party entertainer where she dressed up as a princess, a superhero, and an elf!
In her spare time, Claire loves watching musicals, being in musicals, and singing songs from musicals.

Madeleine graduated from Finders University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. Her passion for working with children developed though work experience in a primary school, and continued across her university placements. Madeleine loves helping children to achieve their goals and enabling kids to see their capabilities grow. Madeleine has a special interest working alongside children in areas of literacy, fluency and speech. She enjoys being outside, running, spending time with friends and family, and eating ice-cream!

Alicia is the Reception Co-ordinator at Liberty Speech Pathology. Alicia enjoys greeting and chatting with the children and their families when they enter the clinic. Outside of the clinic Alicia volunteers her time at her local netball club mentoring and training new umpires. She also loves to travel and explore new places along with catching up with her friends.
